Tickets for the eagerly anticipated 2024 edition of EuroBeachVolley went on sale earlier today here. From now on you can secure your seat and follow the actions of Europe’s Beach Volleyball elite in one of the three host cities across the Netherlands – Arnhem, Apeldoorn, and The Hague. Hurry up and make sure you seize one of the best seats and can attend the best sessions!
The day after the Olympics
The CEV EuroBeachVolley 2024 will be held from Tuesday, August 13, to Sunday, August 18. It is the fourth time that the Netherlands is hosting the European Beach Volleyball Championship after previous editions held there in 2006, 2012, and 2018. It is an ideal opportunity to see world-class players in action up close only a few days after they (hopefully) will have made a name for themselves at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Host cities
The CEV EuroBeachVolley 2024 will be held in Arnhem, Apeldoorn, and The Hague. Three cities that literally breathe sport. Since the first European Beach Volleyball Championship in the Netherlands (2006), The Hague has been playing host to every edition. In 2012 and 2018, The Hague even witnessed home teams secure women’s gold – Marleen van Iersel and Sanne Keizer did so in 2012, before Keizer repeated the same feat six years later alongside Madelein Meppelink. This year, Sportstrand Scheveningen – right by the seaside – is the iconic setting for the European Championship finals.
Besides The Hague, games will be played on the Markt in Arnhem - the sports capital of the Netherlands - and on the Marktplein in Apeldoorn. The latter location was also the venue where other major Beach Volleyball events were held in 2015 and 2018 – namely the FIVB World Championships and EuroBeachVolley, respectively.
Schedule and prices
The detailed competition schedule will be announced at a later stage. However, in the ticket shop you can already see where and when Dutch teams will be in action. Prices vary from € 12.50 (morning session) to € 30 (finals). There are also special tickets for youngsters (4-12 years old) available which can be ordered in combination with a regular ticket.
In Arnhem, balcony tickets and skybox arrangements are offered in addition to regular tickets.
