Beach Volleyball fans from across Europe wishing to travel to Moscow in early August for this year’s #EuroBeachVolley can now buy their tickets to attend the ‘Beach Volleyball party of the year’. The competition will be running from August 5 to 11 at a purpose-built venue right next to the iconic Luzhniki Stadium.

EuroBeachVolley is one of the major CEV top events scheduled for this year, with the continental showpiece event due to take place in Moscow for the first time since the Russian capital hosted it back in 2005. The Russian seaside resort of Sochi played host to the European Championship in 2009.

The competition features 32 teams per gender, who will begin their journey in the pool phase as per the results of the Drawing of Lots held in Moscow last June 19. Norway’s Anders Berntsen Mol/Christian Sandlie Sørum and Sanne Keizer/Madelein Meppelink of the Netherlands are the reigning European champions after taking top honours from last year’s event held across four cities in the Netherlands.
