Germany is the CEV EuroBeachVolley 2024 Champion through Müller/Tillmann

The Final of the Women's CEV EuroBeachVolley 2024 saw Italy and Germany go head to head through duos Gottardi/Menegatti and Müller/Tillmann respectively and what a match it was!

We expected the two teams to come on the court prepared and nobody was disappointed as they came out firing on all cylinders. It was the Germans, however who started on the right foot and they continued like that throughout, despite the Italians' bets efforts to stay in the game, potentially take the lead.

The Germans never gave up leadership of the match, from the first to the last point played in the Final and managed to win the CEV EuroBeachVolley 2024.

Final Score: Gottardi/Menegatti vs Müller/Tillmann 0-2 (17-21; 18-21)

In the bronze medal match, the duos from Lithuania and Switzerland had to pick themselves up quickly following their semifinals' defeats in the earlier part of the day and both did so brilliantly coming into the bronze match extremely motivated to grab the historic chance of being European medalists.

An extremely balanced games throughout the first set with the minimal difference required to win it established right at the end by the Swiss duo, Böbner/Vergé-Dépré Z. The second set however was dominated by the Swiss, getting the lead and increasing it considerably int he first part of the set.

It was too much to do for the Lithuanians, Paulikiene/Raupelyte to get back in the game, having to concede defeat and settle with a fourth place, while the Swiss climb on the podium of the CEV EuroBeachVolley 2024.
